“Saori…” said Kyoko in a low and soft voice.
Saori stopped reading. And as soon as Saori noticed Kyoko, her face turned red, standing up and down from her bed.
Whomp! Saori swiped Kyoko in the face with her hand.
“Go away! Go away! Never come here! I told you so,” shouted Saori.
Without saying a word, Kyoko got down on her knees and threw herself on the floor with her hands clasped in prayer. It was all Kyoko could do. She could do nothing anymore. Kyoko wished Saori would forgive her, a poor, foolish and stupid mother.
What she prayed was only this.
